Reproductive Rights 2022
On June 24th, 2022, the Supreme Court of the United States made a historical decision to overturn federal protection of reproductive rights. This is the first time in United States history where rights have been rescinded from the protection of the United States Constitution. In the days that followed, multiple states outlawed abortion to varying degrees. In Ohio, there was a nearly immediate ban on abortion after 6 weeks of conception with no exclusions made for rape or incest. Shortly after, a 10 year old girl was forced to travel to Indiana to exercise her rights of autonomy over her own body. These are the pictures from the march on the Ohio Statehouse.
